Deborah worked in Finance in Corporate America for a long time until deciding she wanted to do something more meaningful. She went back to college, getting her Master of Social Work, and started her career in Human Services.

Deborah was working in a residential program for adolescents when she was referred to P2P by someone who already worked at the agency. She never considered her connection to P2P when she initially started but one of her best friends has two sisters that are disabled whom she has known since she was a teenager. Those two ladies are two of her favorites!

In May Deborah will have been with P2P for 9 years!

Deborah’s favorite thing about working at P2P is twofold; she loves spending time with the individuals at P2P, and also loves when her faith in humanity is restored when strangers are kind to them.

Deborah thinks the future will bring increases in the quality of care our residents receive. She thinks the pandemic assisted in showing us how to manage their care in a different, more positive way.

In her free time, Deborah loves to read, travel – which usually involves also being near an ocean and spending time with family and friends.
