Make A Difference
Volunteers are important members of the Pathway to Possible team. We welcome individual volunteers, families, and groups from colleges and communities of faith to participate in meaningful work supporting those we serve, including participating in our Annual Dog Show each May and our Newton Serves project each April.
Examples of past volunteer activities:
Hosting a craft day, drum circle, musical performance or yoga class in one of our homes for the residents.
Inviting residents to an exclusive movie matinee or activity at a community space (such as a church or temple).
Taking on a work day to do home improvement or yard work for a home.
Offering your professional skills to our Administration team at the business office.
Annual Opportunities:
Each May we run a Dog Show open to clients, families and the broad community. You are welcome to participate either by signing your dog up to participate or joining us for the day. We also welcome volunteers each April to participate in a spring clean up at one of our homes as part of the City of Newton’s annual volunteer day Newton Serves.
