BARBARA PEMBERTON
Board Vice President
Barbara has had an extensive career in Finance for regional sales corporations, including a Fortune 500 Company, and non-profit organizations. She has supervised and coordinated preparation of accounting tasks by others and worked with compliance issues for enhanced accounting practices. She has an A.S. Degree in Business Administration with High Honors.
Barbara first heard about P2P from a few of her friends and associates. One of her hopes was that her son would be able to have the incredible opportunity to become part of the program.
Other than her personal connection to P2P, Barbara supports the agency because she feels we are an organization that provides quality care and services, adjusts to challenging times, and show gratitude to those that support our mission.
Barbara has been a part of the board for about 19 years! Her favorite thing about being on the board is being a part of the inner workings of an agency with a mission that is very dear to her.
She envisions P2Pās future as being an agency that is able to change, adapt, innovate and grow with some of the challenges and uncertainties facing the disability community today.
In her free time, Barbara enjoys spending time with family and friends, being at the ocean, traveling to new destinations, reading a good book, and attending Yoga class.
